COPPER

Copper has the amazing characteristic of being fluid and forever changing.  Due to this constant fluidity,  no two items that are handcrafted or fabricated from copper will ever be exactly the same.   Copper is a soft metal and has long been favored for decorative uses. Copper can be chameleon like in it's appearance. Copper can take on blue, red, Brown, black, or even green colorations. Copper has a wonderful shine and sheen when brand new.

Our favorite style and color of copper is antique brown with a wax finish. Copper will last forever and thankfully, it is a completely forgiving metal. Even "beat-up" copper will remain beautiful and functional.

An important note about the care of Copper: If you want to retain the "antique" and unique luster of Copper, do not clean copper with acids or rub with a large amount of effort and pressure. On the other hand, if you desire to bring back the shine and sheen, then by all means, employ as much "elbow grease" until your Copper piece gleans!
